Job Title: Claims Specialist | Patient Financial Services Location: College Corporate Meadows, 14425 College Blvd Job Type: (14 weeks) Temporary-to-Permanent Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts (choose start time: 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM) Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Claims Specialist to join our Patient Financial Services team. This position is responsible for processing and resolving claims efficiently, managing claim rejections, and ensuring timely submission of billing files. The successful candidate will have the ability to handle high claim volumes and work effectively across multiple computer systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Perform professional, clinical, and technical competencies for the assigned unit or department. Confirm receipt of daily billing files through the claims clearinghouse. Research and resolve claim rejections within specified timeframes. Submit paper claims and any required supporting documentation to payers. Report any claim rejection trends or delays to management. Manage a daily workload of up to 120 claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in Physician claims, including 1500 Claims and Denials. Proficiency in using multiple computer systems (Cerner, Epic, & Claims Scrub systems). Good typing skills and the ability to manage a high volume of claims daily.
