As a lifeguard, you'll be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, providing top-tier customer service, and responding to any emergencies. No experience? No problem! Enforcing the rules and regulations related to swimming areas. Resolving complaints and maintaining good public relations with the patrons. Maintaining order and discipline among bathers and other persons in assigned area. Maintaining the general appearance and cleanliness of assigned area when lifeguard duties permit. Minimum Qualifications SWIMMERS!!! Must pass American Red Cross Deep Water Lifeguard Swim Test All selected candidates must pass required certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid. (Certifications provided by Orange County Parks and Recreation) Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
