Job Description Join a Fast-Paced Team of Engineers Creating Cutting-Edge AI and Software Products We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join our team of data scientists and AI/ML Engineers in creating innovative AI and software products for the Enterprise. As a member of our team, you will work closely with the AI COE developers and engineers and stakeholders to develop technologies that enhance our employees day-to-day capabilities at BAE Systems. Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy robust machine-learning algorithms, including large language models. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions. Conduct data discovery and analysis by cleaning, preprocessing, and transforming raw data into usable formats, ensuring data quality and integrity. Produce visualizations and insights to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences. Develop and maintain user interfaces for AI/ML applications using frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or js framework. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Requirements A Bachelor's degree and 2+ year's of professional experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or AI Engineer, with a focus on generative AI and machine learning. Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their applications in AI. Experience with Agent + RAG system and its application in data science and AI. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and others. Familiarity with cloud-based services and solutions such as AWS, Azure, and Dataiku. Proficiency in frontend development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred Qualifications Master's or Ph.D. degree. Experience working with large datasets. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and big data processing (e.g., AWS Glue, Apache Spark). Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $64935 - $110390 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
