About The Role We're hiring a Head of Compliance to design and own Whop's compliance program across all business lines. You'll own regulatory strategy and operational compliance across our payments platform and marketplace - from AML/KYC to trust & safety and privacy. You'll work closely with Product, Payments, and Leadership to build compliance into our business. This role will be part of our Legal, Compliance and Risk function. Scope Design, build, and scale Whop's overall compliance program Own AML/KYC, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring programs Manage trust & safety frameworks, prohibited products policies, and merchant underwriting Manage privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) Ensure new features (including crypto/stablecoin) are compliant by design What We're Looking For 7+ years in compliance, AML/KYC, or regulatory affairs at payments/fintech/marketplace companies Comfortable with regulatory ambiguity - you can translate unclear rules into defensible positions Strong with numbers, metrics, and operational details High agency, builder mindset, good partner Exposure to crypto/stablecoins is a plus Benefits Overview Competitive base salary + equity Unlimited PTO, full health/vision/dental coverage Lunch & dinner M-F + Equinox + Citibike + free Ubers after 10pm + $9k rent subsidy (within 4 blocks of 300 Kent) Latest Macbook Pro & tech accessories
