You’ll lead by example, keep service smooth, and ensure every guest leaves smiling.Core Responsibilities:Own the FOH during your shift: open/close, supervise, and support hosts, servers, and bussersConduct pre-shift team briefings and post-shift wrap-upsManage guest flow, reservations, waitlists, and seating logisticsTake and resolve guest feedback and minor issues quickly and professionallyAct as the point person for FOH operations in the absence of the GM or the Assistant ManagerTrain and mentor newer team members on service standards and POS systemsHandle shift-level cash and financial closeouts accuratelyMaintain dining room cleanliness, ambiance, and readiness throughout serviceCommunicate effectively with the kitchen and BOH teams to keep orders flowingQualifications:Minimum 1 year of experience as a shift lead, team captain, supervisor or similar in a casual/fast‑casual or Italian-style restaurantStrong command of front-of-house roles: host, server, expo, cash handling, etc.Excellent multitasking, organizational, and leadership abilitiesOutstanding communication and a guest service mindsetReliable, professional, and flexible—able to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysComfortable standing for long shifts and assisting with light physical tasksFood handler certification and Bassett certificate requiredWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly pay + tips on night shiftsStaff meals and discounts for familyHands-on training and leadership development within a tight-knit, family-run environmentFlexibility in scheduling, with priority given to dependable availabilityThe opportunity to grow with us as we expand our local reputation
