Cleanroom Technician - Sorrento Valley - $19/hr-$21.85/hrJob DescriptionParticipate in daily production and packaging activities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all related standard operating procedures (SOPs). Strive to achieve assigned production goals and meet unscheduled peaks in workload as necessary to ensure timely release of products and avoid back orders.Responsibilities Collaborate with the Team Leader to detail critical raw materials, in-process procedures, and specifications. Implement corrective action for technical problems related to raw materials and finished products. Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products. Identify line issues and other production problems; promptly notify Team Leader of required corrective actions. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and all related SOPs. Use computerized Materials Resource Planning (MRP) inventory system to report lot-controlled ingredients on batch records. Essential Skills Proficiency in cleanroom procedures and production operations. Understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Experience in machine operation, quality assurance, packaging, and inspection. Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and manufacturing lingo. Ability to operate computers effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least two years of assembly/packaging experience. Experience in regulated medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments is strongly preferred. Ability to quickly comprehend coagulation-based manufacturing processes. Familiarity with GDP, GMP, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), FDA, and ISO. Knowledge of qualification and validation trials is a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and large Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems is preferred. Dress code requires pants, no makeup, and tucked necklaces, with side shields on glasses. The room can be loud, and ear protection is provided. Headphones and cell phones are not allowed on the manufacturing floor. Overtime may be required after training, and flexibility is appreciated. Reliability is crucial as absence can create bottlenecks in the process.
