This role requires the Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their families, addressing urgent and emergent health needs Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification • Conduct assessments, triage, and prioritize care for patients of all ages in accordance with ESI Triage Standards. • Provide direct patient care, implement appropriate interventions, and evaluate outcomes in life-threatening and routine emergencies. • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to address needs, ensure safety, and deliver relationship-based care. • Educate patients and families on diagnostic procedures, post-emergency care, and discharge instructions, ensuring understanding and retention. Candidate requirements • Current RN license or eligibility for licensure in New York State. • Minimum of one year of acute hospital experience as a registered professional nurse. • Emergency Room experience required. • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Stroke Certification required.
