General job duties. Types of procedures required. Cardiac catheterization, peripheral catheterization, VNUS closure, IR procedures 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) XIM software, x-ray, 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. RCIS Tech experience scrubbing in 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) RCIS 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) 8-hour shifts plus 33% call. Call team is 2 RN's and 1 Tech 6. Floating to over units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) No floating 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 1 Lab and 1 Procedure Room 8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) N/A 9. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. Individual will scrub into cases. Will orientate to each procedure and sign off when feels competent and preceptor also feels comfortable. Will be assigned a preceptor.
