Role Title: Data Engineer Project Name : STARs UCEE Migration # Resources : 1 Preferred Start Date : 1/21/25 Duration : 11 months Telecommute : Yes Travel : No Roles and Responsibilities: • Work with various stakeholders to understand data needs • Develop data models to support business requirements and analytics • Ensure data consistency and accuracy through validation and cleansing techniques • Create and maintain data ingestion pipelines • Manage and optimize data workflows • Implement ETL processes to transform raw data into usable formats • Integrate front-end applications with back-end data services Required Skills: • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of experience with NodeJS and JavaScript • 3+ years of experience with ReactJS • 5+ years of experience with RDBMS and Snowflake • Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture • Experience with designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices • Experience in parsing and manipulating JSON data in various programming languages • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis. • Proficiency in Scripting (Batch/Shell/Java Script). • Competent to work on complex projects independently • Ability to think strategically (outside-the-box) and provide creative solutions • Ability to frame problems and opportunities to present solutions.
