Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a skilled CT Technologist working on a PRN basis. This role involves operating advanced diagnostic imaging equipment to assist in medical diagnosis and treatment, ensuring high-quality radiographs and patient care. Job Summary As a CT Technologist, you will provide compassionate and efficient care to patients, accurately position them for imaging, and operate X-Ray and CT equipment following strict health and safety protocols. You will maintain detailed records, communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, patients, and families, and participate in quality assurance and infection control programs. Responsibilities Deliver prompt and empathetic patient care during imaging procedures. Position patients accurately using accessory devices and instruct on breathing control. Operate diagnostic imaging equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Perform clerical duties including patient reception, documentation, and exam sign-out. Maintain sterile techniques to prevent contamination. Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities. Ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Attend department meetings and contribute to special projects as assigned. Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms according to infection control policies. Enter patient information into Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and assist with scheduling as needed. Education and Experience Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. At least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred. Licenses and Certifications Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent registry as a Radiologic and CT Technologist is required within one year of hire. Current and unrestricted Radiologic Technologist Certification through the appropriate state Department of Health. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Skills and Abilities Comprehensive knowledge of radiographic equipment and maintenance. Ability to operate equipment safely and follow procedural guidelines. Proficiency with diagnostic imaging procedures and technology, including PACS and RIS software. Strong communication skills tailored to diverse audiences. Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and patients. Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
