Join a dynamic healthcare call center team dedicated to enhancing patient experience and operational efficiency in the Midwest region. As an Administrative Call Center Representative, you will play a vital role in scheduling patient appointments, supporting training initiatives, and maintaining accurate contact information. Your efforts will directly contribute to patient satisfaction and the smooth functioning of the medical group. Key Responsibilities Manage daily call center operations to foster patient loyalty and increase appointment bookings through excellent customer service and effective use of technology. Project a professional and positive image during all phone interactions, handling distressed callers with patience and empathy. Resolve patient concerns by identifying issues, explaining solutions, and escalating complex problems to management when necessary. Support team goals by completing related tasks and continuously updating job knowledge through educational opportunities. Maintain office equipment functionality by following procedures and reporting malfunctions promptly. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred candidates will have graduated from an accredited medical receptionist or similar program, or possess two years of experience in healthcare or customer service. Experience At least two years of experience in a general medical office or call center environment is required. Clinic experience is a plus. Certifications Medical secretary or other medical technician/specialist certification from an accredited program is preferred. Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to communicate detailed information clearly, maintain focus in a busy call center environment, and possess strong computer skills including a minimum typing speed of 60 wpm. Knowledge of medical terminology and scheduling is advantageous. Occasionally lifting items up to 10 pounds and safe operation of a vehicle may be required. Working Conditions Typical call center setting involving close collaboration with patients, healthcare providers, and support staff in a regional healthcare network.
