Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 03/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Nuclear Medicine Procedures: -Responsible for appropriate operation of all Nuclear Medicine Imaging and related equipment. -Appropriately educates, positions, immobilizes and performs Nuclear Medicine procedures. -Coordinates Nuclear Medicine examination to ensure timeliness, quality and continuity of patient care. -Understands and follows provider Imaging orders correctly. -Submits required images and related clinical information to the Radiologist for interpretation. -Appropriately evaluates image quality. -Open, accurate, and responsive communication to patients, coworkers, Radiologists and leadership. -Appropriately utilizes, charges and maintains department supplies. -Practices sterile technique and follows infection prevention policies. -Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines. -Safely performs Nuclear Medicine procedures including patient transfer. -Prepares and administers Radioisotopes according to Radiologist protocol. -Follows Radiation Safety Measures (ALARA) to ensure patient and staff safety. -Maintains adequate records of radioisotope receipts, use, storage and disposal in accordance with state and federal guidelines. null Comments Monday - Friday 0600-1430 About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States. As a leading healthcare staffing agency, Malone’s focus on compliance and integrity translates to a seamless experience for our team members and partner facilities.
