Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Location: Tri-Community Nursing Center, Palmetto, LouisianaJob Type: Full Time Day Shift 6p-6a or Night Shift 6p-6aSalary: Competitive Salary, and based on years of experienceJob Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Tri-Community Nursing Center. The LPN will provide high-quality direct patient care and support to our nursing staff under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and physician. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.- Monitor and record vital signs, patient health status, and changes in condition.- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meals.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.- Respond to patient calls and address their needs and concerns promptly.- Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff or student nurses as needed.- Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.Qualifications:- Valid and active LPN license in Louisiana.- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as needed.- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.- Capacity to manage the demands of a fast-paced healthcare environment.What We Offer:- Competitive salary and benefits package, including health, vision, dental and retirement plan options, as well as LTD, STD, and Life Insurance policies- Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education.- A supportive and collaborative work environment.How to Apply:Interested candidates are encouraged to visit Tri-Community Nursing Center for an application.
