The Centerville Center for Sleep Disorders is looking for a Sleep Technician Start: 3/9/2026 Shift: Wed- Friday, 6:30P-6:30A Contract: 13 Weeks A Registered Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Board-Certified Sleep Physician and Lead Technologist to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This will involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, and patient care and education. A Registered Technologist can perform all of the duties defined for a Polysomnographic Technician and may provide supervision of other staff in performance of those duties. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography, or successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility, or equivalent experience and documented proficiency of all competencies required of a Polysomnography Technician. Certification: Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists Skills/Other: Current CPR certification. Moderate computer skills Demonstrated positive working relationships. Good organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective interpersonal communication skills Good problem solving skills, initiative, and judgment to make appropriate decisions. Ability to work under sometimes stressful situations which may occur in emergency situations. Medical terminology. Moderate typing skills
