Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy aimed at enhancing communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and families for a unified approach to care. Provide educational resources to patients and their families to maintain progress outside the clinic environment. Assist with inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring that every aspect of the treatment journey is seamless. Maintain timely and precise documentation in compliance with state, federal, and institutional standards. Engage in continuous education and collaborate with peers to stay abreast of evolving practices in your field. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment. Skills Expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches for various age groups, coupled with a solid grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing conditions. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members. Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
