DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices. Maintain proper documentation in all record keeping formats. Mixing and testing Chemicals to clean, foam, and sanitize equipment and parts. Restock chemical barrels and maintain labeling of secondary containers. Mixing of chemicals to clean, foam, and sanitize equipment & parts. Visual inspection of printing machine parts and equipment. Assemble and disassemble print & packaging machines and parts, which includes: Quarter pound and pound print machines Bulk machines Handroll area Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed. Backfill to other positions as needed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Position RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Demonstrate an understanding of the products manufactured and the processes involved. Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment. Basic understanding of machine operations and troubleshooting ability. Ability to understand sanitation procedures. Ability to work with cleaning chemicals. Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency.
