What You Will Do Ascension Sacred Heart is looking for a certified APP (will consider both NP and PA candidates) to join our neurology practice in Destin, FL. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to join a respected practice at the region's comprehensive stroke center. Position Highlights: Clinic only, with some inpatient rounding (follow-ups) Comprehensive Stroke Center Migraine clinic Live and work on the beautiful Gulf Coast of FL Leapfrog A rated facility Responsibilities: Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician. Obtain patient history and performs assessment. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures. Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions. Provide counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Physician Assistant credentialed from the Florida Physician Assistants obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred. Work Experience: 1 year of experience preferred.
