ASHA Certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Speech Language Pathologist providing comprehensive speech and swallowing evaluations and treatments. This role supports patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, within a dynamic regional healthcare setting in the Southeastern United States. Education Applicants should hold certification from the NC Board for Speech-Language Pathologists & Audiologists or equivalent credentials. Experience One to two years of experience in communication and swallowing disorders is preferred. Candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year with relevant practicum experience may also be considered. Requirements CPR certification will be provided during orientation and must be maintained throughout employment. Strong verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients, families, physicians, and team members. Ability to evaluate and treat a diverse patient population. New employees providing rehabilitation care must obtain and maintain FIM credentialing within 45 days of hire, achieving a minimum proficiency score of 80% on required testing. Participation in evacuation training and orientation to safety protocols, including restraint and seclusion procedures, is mandatory. Near visual acuity and adequate hearing are necessary for working with charts, records, and speech communication.
