Job Description Summary GE Aerospace is looking for a skilled Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer to join our Defense & Systems Digital Technology team. In this role, you will play a critical part in modernizing and enhancing our engineering toolchain. You will be responsible for administering, integrating, and automating ECAD applications and databases, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting end users to expedite aerospace product development. By leveraging AWS, cloud solutions, DevOps practices, and automation, your focus will be on optimizing workflows, bolstering infrastructure, and collaborating with engineering leaders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. Job Responsibilities Provide technical support and lead innovative approaches for engineering tools and database systems while ensuring adherence to relevant standards and regulations. Work closely with engineering teams to assess needs, develop effective solutions, and improve design productivity. Administer and offer support for ECAD tools and infrastructure, including installation, configuration, debugging, and resolving client/server issues. Integrate ECAD with enterprise systems such as Windchill or Teamcenter PLM, ERP, and manufacturing, along with managing ECAD libraries and databases. Automate workflows and CI/CD processes using tools like Ansible, Jenkins, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and JFrog; script operations in Java and Python. Architect and manage AWS environments for servers and workstations; oversee licensing and identity management (LDAP/SAML). Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and network fundamentals; align with company protocols. Support and optimize various databases including MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle RDS, and Cassandra. Assess and implement new tools and technologies; develop documentation and provide training to engineering teams. Support key applications: Siemens Xpedition, EDM, HyperLynx, OneSim, Valor, Capital, Altium Designer, and Relyence. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 2 years of relevant experience OR associate’s degree with at least 5 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. At least 2 years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Hands-on experience with ECAD tools; familiarity with Siemens ECAD tools and PLM integration is a plus. Experience in automation and cloud technologies is advantageous: Ansible, Jenkins, OpenShift/Kubernetes, JFrog, AWS. Proficiency in Java and Python, with strong problem-solving abilities and collaboration skills. Basic understanding of cybersecurity/compliance (e.g., DO-178, CMMC, Export Control). Database expertise in design, query optimization, and integration across indicated platforms. Note: Military experience may count as relevant professional experience. Eligibility Requirements Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; we cannot sponsor employment visas for this position. Export Control Requirement: U.S. Citizenship is required for compliance with government-imposed job requirements. The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $159,000. The specific pay offered may vary based on factors such as experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of the base salary. The posting is expected to close on March 13, 2026.
