Hours of Work: 0700-1730 Days Of Week: 7 days a week (starting 2023) with call Work Shift: Job Description: Your Role: Join our dynamic team as an Echocardiography Technician where you'll play a crucial role in providing outstanding patient care. Reporting to the Supervisor of Noninvasive Cardiology, you will perform a range of echocardiograms, including 2D, M-Mode, Color Doppler, Pulse Wave Doppler, Continuous Wave Doppler, Transesophageal Echocardiograms, Stress Echocardiograms, and other specialized examinations, adhering to the highest standards of practice. Your Qualifications: - Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent. - Graduate from an accredited associate degree echo program or equivalent preferred. - ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) certification in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) is required. - A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist can substitute for the ARDMS certification if you are skilled in performing all aspects of pediatric echocardiography. - Current Basic Life Support certification is required; Advanced Cardio Life Support certification is preferred.
