Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. Status: Full Time 9.5 hr 4 Day Shift: DAY SHIFT Department: Noninvas. Vascular Lab Position Summary Summary:The Registered Vascular Technologist is an experienced sonographer specializing in vascular ultrasound with the knowledge and skills fundamental to performing all non-invasive vascular studies and assisting the Vascular Surgeons with invasive vascular studies. Performs all non-invasive vascular testing in accordance with the Vascular Lab's policy and procedure manual, ICAVL standards, OSHA regulations and HIPAA guidelines. Qualifications Responsibilities:Education Required • Must complete in-house orientation program • High school diploma or equivalent. • Associate degree in ultrasound technology or certifications from an accredited ultrasound diagnostic school. • Minimum 12 months working in an accredited non-invasive vascular laboratory. Experience And Skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Speaks, reads and writes English • Clinical experience in non-invasive vascular testing required. • Basic knowledge of normal/abnormal anatomy and physiology. License/Certifications • ARDMS Working Conditions Other information:Working Conditions • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn • Must be able to lift, position, push and transfer patients and equipment.
