Providing speech-language therapy services to school-aged children across grade levels K-12, this contract opportunity is based in New York, NY. We are currently offering three distinct positions to meet varied candidate availability: one full-time, one part-time (2-3 days per week, flexible), and one maternity leave coverage (approximately July through October). Positions include locations serving students diagnosed with autism, ages 5 to 21, focusing on a caseload averaging 50 therapy sessions per week. Full-time hours are typically 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM with a half-hour unpaid lunch break, totaling 25 hours weekly. Daily schedules consist of 10 sessions, delivered individually or in group settings to enhance communication skills. Key responsibilities for these roles involve: Providing direct speech-language therapy treatment aligned with individualized education program (IEP) goals Documenting detailed daily treatment notes and maintaining accuracy in progress monitoring Preparing quarterly and annual progress reports alongside drafting IEP updates Performing monthly audits of notes and confirming attendance records via the CM2 system Candidates should be certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with prior experience working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder preferred. Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices such as TouchChat, LAMP, and Proloquo is highly desirable to support diverse communication needs effectively.
