At Education Management Solutions (EMS), we're looking for a Chief Financial Officer who's excited to help shape our financial strategy, partner closely with executive leadership, and support a growing, mission-driven organization. In this role, you'll bring financial clarity to complex decisions, help strengthen our operational foundation, and play a key role in guiding EMS through its next phase of growth-while staying connected to the day-to-day realities of the business. What You'll Do Lead the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with both short- and long-term business goals. Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and regulatory requirements. Manage cash flow, capital structure, and financial resources to support operational and growth needs. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, control costs, and drive profitability. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations; oversee internal and external audits. Partner with investors, shareholders, and key stakeholders to communicate financial performance and business strategy. Collaborate with Human Resources on workforce planning, compensation strategy, and compliance matters. Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks across the organization. What We're Looking For Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, such as CFO or equivalent. Strong expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. Experience working closely with executive leadership teams and Boards. Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
