A part-time contract opportunity in the Virginia Beach area seeks a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist with expertise in telespeech and teletherapy services. This role focuses on providing evaluation services remotely within a school setting, requiring Spanish language proficiency to support students effectively. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations via teletherapy platforms Deliver high-quality assessments consistent with school requirements Collaborate with educational teams to inform individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district protocols Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services to Spanish-speaking students Qualifications and Experience: Active Speech-Language Pathology licensure in Virginia Proficiency in Spanish required to effectively communicate and assess bilingual students Experience with telespeech or teletherapy service delivery preferred Ability to conduct evaluations in a virtual setting with minimal supervision Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience working within school settings is advantageous but not mandatory Assignment Details: Contract duration: Immediate start through June 16, 2026 Part-time, as needed (PRN) schedule averaging two to three evaluations weekly Virtual role supporting students in Virginia Beach area Caseload includes school-aged children requiring bilingual speech-language services This position offers an opportunity to impact student communication goals through bilingual teletherapy assessments on a flexible schedule.
