Required Skills: NYS License/Registration or Limited Permit to Practice as a Certified Histological Technician or Clinical Laboratory Technologist Minimum of two years of histology or clinical laboratory experience Proficiency in sectioning, staining, and special procedures in histology Ability to perform immunohistochemical stains, enzyme histochemistry, and advanced histology techniques (e.g., nerve, renal, muscle biopsies) Strong computer skills for data entry and record keeping Ability to distinguish colors accurately Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance Nice to Have Skills: Experience with pathology specialties such as neuropathology, eye pathology Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and patient confidentiality standards Knowledge of billing procedures related to laboratory testing Preferred Education and Experience: Relevant certification or licensing as a Histotechnologist or Clinical Laboratory Technologist At least two years of practical experience in histology laboratory settings Experience working with research and clinical specimens Other Requirements: Ability to work a standard 8-hour day shift in a days schedule Willingness to adhere to all safety and privacy policies Flexibility to perform sophisticated histology procedures as needed Ability to maintain detailed documentation and accurate records This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate and comprehensive benefits, including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, paid sick leave, robust referral bonuses, licensure and travel reimbursements, and the support of a dedicated team committed to your success.
