Position Summary The Contracts Specialist will play a crucial role in managing Proliance's contracting system and contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and supporting various departments in contract-related matters and as needed. This role involves drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing contracts with vendors, healthcare providers, and educational institutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and fast learner with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Target start date: July 2026 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Key Duties and Responsibilities Review and red line a variety of contracts to meet Proliance standards. As directed by the Director of Vendor Contracting, negotiate terms and conditions with vendors and other parties to achieve favorable outcomes for Proliance. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align contract terms accordingly. Maintain a centralized repository for all contracts and related documents. Track contract lifecycles, including renewals, amendments, and terminations. Advise stakeholders and Director of Vendor Contracting of matters that would impact timely execution and renewal of contracts to avoid lapses in coverage or service. Identify and mitigate potential and actual contractual risks. Assist with resolving any contractual disputes or issues. Provide guidance, ongoing support, and troubleshooting to various departments/locations on contract-related matters and contract management system. Assist in the development and implementation of contract management system, necessary processes, policies, and procedures, system configuration, data migration, and process integration. Develop and facilitate training sessions for stakeholders on contract management system, processes, policies, procedures, and best practices. Generate reports on contract status, compliance, and performance metrics. Analyze contract data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Identify opportunities to streamline contract processes and enhance efficiency. Assist supply chain department, value-based department, and other departments as time permits and as needed. Participate in cross-functional team meetings to ensure alignment and integration of contract management processes across the organization. Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree Healthcare experience preferred Contract management or legal experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Healthcare experience preferred Contract management or legal experience preferred Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with SharePoint preferred Must have strong project management and presentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Competencies Motivating/Leading Skilled leader with a collaborative style who influences change and builds consensus for ideas and recommendations that move teams forward. Key Relationships The Contracts Specialist reports to the Director of Vendor Contracting.
