Rooted in a whole-child approach, our program fosters emotional, social, and functional growth in a nurturing and inclusive environment.WHAT WE DO:By recognizing individual differences, sensory needs, and the importance of trusting relationships-we create meaningful and purposeful learning opportunities.WHY WE DO IT:We Believe Powerful Learning Happens When:Children feel safe, seen, and supported-emotionally, physically, and developmentally.Relationships come first, because connection is the foundation for growth.Individual differences are recognized, respected, and supported with intention.Learning is purposeful and playful, rooted in hands-on exploration and discovery.Growth is seen as a journey, not a race, and every step forward is celebrated.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Supporting children during daily activities and transitionsHelping maintain an organized, safe space (light clean-up throughout the day)Assisting with bathroom breaks and hygiene as neededSupporting children during gym/movement activitiesHelping ensure safety and engagement throughout the dayAN IDEAL CANDITATE:Enjoys working with neurodiverse childrenIs a team player with a calm, supportive presenceHas experience working with children with developmental differences, special needs, or in therapeutic/educational settings preferredDemonstrates patience, flexibility, and strong emotional regulation skillsCommunicates clearly and professionally with team members and familiesIs able to follow individualized support plans and guidance from lead staff or therapistsMaintains confidentiality and professionalism at all timesIs physically able to move, lift (up to 30 lbs), and actively engage with children throughout the dayHolds or is willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certificationPasses a background checkCOMPENSATION:Part-time, hourly position. $17 per hour.
