Job DescriptionLocation Candidates must be available to work at either the Broad Ripple Urgent Care or the Downtown Urgent Care facility. Schedule Monday-Friday: 12-hour shifts- Days Saturday & Sunday: 10-hour shifts- Days Status: PRN and Full-time roles available. If PRN will work approximately 3 shifts per month. If full-time will work 36 hours per week. Benefits: Not benefits-eligible for PRN roles. Top Responsibilities Check in patients Answer and route phone calls Complete daily checklists Prepare paperwork prior to the next shift Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email Determine the best method for resolving patient issues in alignment with organizational guidelines Coordinate issue resolution with other departments as needed Gather patient personal and billing information for database entry and scheduling Skills for Success Strong organization and time-management skills Positive, professional attitude Hard-working and collaborative approach Clear communication skills Requirements High School Diploma or GED (no experience required) Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding preferred Ability to type 30+ words per minute Working knowledge of computers and basic software applications About Us Indiana University Health has nearly 40,000 team members, including more than 3,600 physicians and 1,200 advanced practice providers, and we're home to the largest nursing network in Indiana with more than 9,000 nursing team members at over 800 sites of care.
