A specialized role in interventional radiology awaits experienced imaging professionals ready to contribute to a high-acuity acute care setting. This contract position offers a dynamic work schedule focusing on daytime hours with on-call responsibilities for weekend and holiday coverage. Schedule & Hours: Day shift: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (07:00 - 15:30) On-call hours shift to 08:00 - 16:30 during call duty On-call one day weekly and rotating weekend coverage approximately every third or fourth weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Holiday on-call as needed No floating required Key Responsibilities: Scrub cases in the vascular interventional radiology suite, including endografts, neurovascular, trauma, and body IR procedures Operate and collaborate proficiently with GE and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment Support stroke thrombectomy procedures in a recognized stroke center Manage 10-15 cases per day with a focus on patient safety and procedural efficiency Utilize Cerner for electronic charting Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience preferred; first-time candidates will be considered Familiarity with wires and scrub techniques specific to vascular IR Competency in both neurovascular IR and body IR procedures Active state radiology technologist license required by start date; pending licenses accepted with timely activation Candidate must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Facility Overview: This acute care hospital features 449 staffed beds and offers cutting-edge technologies in interventional radiology, supporting a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
