Interventional Radiology Tech | Elmhurst, Illinois

Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team on a contract basis in Elmhurst, IL. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospital setting specializing in IR, peripheral vascular (PV), and vascular procedures, including pulmonary embolisms (PEs). Candidates must have prior travel contract experience and be ready to start within 2-3 weeks. Responsibilities: Perform IR/PV/vascular imaging procedures with proficiency, including support for pulmonary embolism cases Respond to vascular on-call duties approximately 10-12 days per month, with a 30-minute proximity requirement to the hospital Maintain equipment readiness and ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic support Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience as an IR Technologist, with solid travel experience Completion of at least one prior travel contract Current Illinois licensure and certifications including CPR and ACLS Strong knowledge and hands-on skills in IR, PV, vascular imaging, and PE cases Availability for day shifts (10-hour shift), with on-call responsibilities for vascular calls Commitment to professionalism and adherence to hospital policies and protocols Schedule: 10-hour day shifts On-call approximately 10-12 days monthly (vascular) No weekend work unless on call Holiday coverage as needed This contract position offers a challenging and rewarding environment to enhance your IR skills while serving a diverse patient population.
