Job Description The Preconstruction Manager - K-12 Projects - Huntingtown, MD will: Manage preconstruction efforts for commercial and K12 projects, supporting a rapidly growing pipeline. Develop and maintain designphase estimates and cost control processes. Build and update project schedules using critical path methods. Coordinate early project operations, including site logistics planning. Collaborate with design teams, owners, and internal project staff. Prepare bid packages and support subcontractor outreach. Use Building Connected to manage bids and vendor relationships. Provide seamless handoff to operations for project launch. The Successful Applicant The Preconstruction Manager - K-12 Projects - Huntingtown, MD will have: 2+ years of preconstruction experience (PM background strongly preferred). Experience in commercial, education, and/or public sector work a plus. Strong estimating, scheduling, and earlyphase planning capabilities. Proficiency with Building Connected (or similar tools). Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
