Location: Saint Louis, MO 63110 (Brand New Facility!) Pay Rate: $23.00/hr + Full Benefits after 90 days Work Arrangement: On-site (Includes modern workspace with stand-up desks) Industry: Mortgage & Financial Services The Opportunity Join a national leader in mortgage lending, at the beautiful new facility in St. Louis. As a Customer Experience Specialist, you are the "guide" for our clients. Once a Loan Officer finishes the initial licensed discussion, you take the baton to navigate the consumer through the rest of the loan origination process. This is a high-impact role for someone looking to build a career in financial services. salary: $22.99 - $23 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: High School Responsibilities Consumer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for borrowers, ensuring a seamless transition from the initial application to the processing phase. Data Integrity: Perform routine data entry and validation tasks to ensure loan files are accurate and compliant with federal standards. Omnichannel Communication: Manage a high volume of calls, emails, and chats with consumers, Pennymac internal teams, and authorized third parties. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Underwriting, Processing, and Appraisal departments to expedite loan milestones and resolve issues quickly. Culture Advocacy: Demonstrate behaviors aligned with Pennymac's values of efficiency, transparency, and "best-in-class" service. Required Qualifications Experience: Previous experience in a call center or financial services environment is highly preferred. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on problem-solving and negotiation. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated comfort with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Outlook) and Google Workspace. Soft Skills: Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and remain resilient in a fast-paced environment. Preferred "Plus" Skills bilingual: Fluency in Spanish is a significant advantage. Mortgage Knowledge: A general understanding of Federal, State, and Local mortgage regulations (TILA, RESPA, etc.).
