Speech Language PathologistLocation: Fort Carson, CO Facility: Evans Army Community Hospital - Intrepid Spirit Center MDPerm is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support the Intrepid Spirit Center at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, Colorado. The SLP will provide specialized evaluation and treatment services for active-duty service members with traumatic brain injury (TBI), cognitive-communication disorders, and related neurological conditions. The Intrepid Spirit Centers provide interdisciplinary care focused on TBI rehabilitation, neurological recovery, and integrated behavioral health treatment for military personnel. Duties and Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Conduct comprehensive speech-language and cognitive assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with traumatic brain injury and neurological conditions. Provide therapy focused on: Cognitive-communication rehabilitation Speech and language restoration Executive functioning and memory deficits Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including neurologists, psychologists, audiologists, occupational therapists, and physicians. Document all encounters in MHS GENESIS in accordance with DoD standards. Participate in team case conferences and treatment planning meetings. Educate patients and families on therapy goals and progress. Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Current unrestricted license in any U.S. state. Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology. Experience with neurological rehabilitation, TBI, or cognitive rehabilitation preferred. Current BLS certification.
