The Commissioning Manager - MEP is responsible for leading and coordinating all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) commissioning activities across the project lifecycle. This role serves as a primary interface between the Owner, Design Teams, Vendors, Construction, QA/QC, Safety, and Third-Party Commissioning Authorities to ensure systems are delivered safely, compliantly, and in accordance with project specifications, energy requirements, and operational readiness goals. Responsibilities: Serve as OFCI Point of Contact (POC) for META Procurement Manager escalations. Manage OFCI submittals to ensure alignment with project requirements and owner expectations. Act as BMS Coordination Manager to align system integration and commissioning readiness. Act as EPMS Coordination Manager to ensure electrical power monitoring systems are aligned with project scope and schedule. Serve as META QA/QC/Commissioning Manager Point of Contact. Lead Energy Program management activities, including serving as Primary Project Energy Manager. Manage Early ENS/PR planning and execution to support project startup milestones. Provide mobilization, logistics, and office support for Commissioning Agent (Iconicx). Lead COHE program development in coordination with the Safety Manager. Manage Commissioning RFIs, CSI's, and CCD's to ensure timely review and resolution. Oversee resolution of design to vendor submittal deviations in collaboration with project stakeholders. Manage commissioning vendor scopes of work and act as primary interface for commissioning scope and specifications with vendors, trade partners, and owner. Write and process Notices of Intent (NOIs) to the Owner in coordination with the MEP Project Manager. Champion issue resolution processes to drive closure and maintain schedule integrity. Serve as Factory Witness Test (FWT) Champion, Coordinator, and Attendee. Participate as First of Kind (FOK) attendee to support new system implementations. Support development and execution of the Commissioning 6-Step process. Support Commissioning Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) management activities. Support daily commissioning meetings with the Commissioning Agent and Owner. Support weekly ACC issue meetings to ensure risk mitigation and resolution tracking. Support daily commissioning morning coordination meetings. Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role. Skills Required: trong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and data center infrastructure. Experience managing OFCI equipment and owner-direct procurement processes. Knowledge of BMS and EPMS integration within mission-critical facilities. Familiarity with commissioning documentation, RFIs, CSI's, CCD's, and submittal workflows. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to manage complex issue resolution and escalation processes. Experience supporting energy program management initiatives. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams. Proficiency in technical documentation review and scope management. Commitment to safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Education / Licenses / Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. PMP certification preferred. Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) preferred. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred. Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
