This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional care to surgical patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Surgical Unit, including pre- and post-operative care. Monitor patient conditions, assess treatment progress, and adjust care plans as needed. Administer medications, IVs, and other treatments following prescribed protocols. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures, post-operative care, and discharge instructions. Document patient care accurately and maintain records in compliance with healthcare standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe, efficient work environment. Uphold hospital policies, procedures, and ethical standards in patient care. Candidate requirements Current and unrestricted RN license in Washington. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred). Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a surgical or acute care setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Strong clinical and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support patient and family-centered care. Why work with us?
