Join our dynamic team at Jacobs as a Project Scheduling Manager! In this role, you will oversee a talented group of Project Schedulers and play a crucial part in crafting, developing, and managing project schedules. Your expertise in engineering, procurement, and construction concepts will enable you to create critical path logic networks and bar charts effectively. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential. Proficient in PC operating systems and various software applications. Experienced with multiple discipline-specific software applications. Ability to make sound, timely judgments with limited information. Outstanding organizational and time management skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Power BI, and Outlook) and project control systems. Maintain awareness of contract issues and MARTA participants while analyzing Time Impact Analysis (TIA) reports. Strength in leading and mentoring Project Schedulers and Program Schedule Leads. Experience managing large-scale applied projects simultaneously is a plus. Prepare cost reports, forecast reporting, and KPIs at the Portfolio and Program levels. Verify contractor schedules and Earned Value reporting for compliance with contract documents. Review contract schedules and provide insights to Program Directors and Project Managers as needed. Perform verification of project, program, and portfolio schedule reporting and KPIs. Update contract specifications related to project schedules and keep the team informed of any significant issues. Support Project Teams in developing accurate and timely schedules and reports. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities are crucial. Strong writing skills for complex business documents, including reports, papers, and detailed correspondence. Proactively identify needs and formulate business cases to address them. Highly detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in all aspects of scheduling. 8-10 years’ experience in CPM scheduling for large-scale projects/programs is required. Minimum of 8 years of experience leading a team of Project Schedulers in a Large Capital Program. Expertise in long-range planning and workload management. 8 years of proven experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software is mandatory. Capability to read engineering plans and convert them into a WBS and activities within a CPM schedule. Solid understanding of construction, engineering, procurement, industry standards, and their interdependencies. Transit experience is a plus but not necessary. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field is preferred. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
