The Sourcing Specialist role will aid in our strategic sourcing and vendor management operations across key categories, including Technology, Professional Services, and Contract Labor. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing and collaborating closely with the Sourcing Manager, you will play an important role in executing sourcing initiatives, managing suppliers, and providing data-driven insights that align with Datavant's goals regarding cost, risk, and performance. Key Responsibilities: Sourcing & Category Support: Assist in executing category strategies and sourcing initiatives across Technology, Contract Labor, and Professional Services. Market Research: Conduct market research, identify suppliers, and prepare sourcing recommendations. Sourcing & Negotiation: Support RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ), evaluate suppliers, and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery. Contract Management: Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and stakeholders to review contracts and manage approvals and documentation. Renewal Tracking: Monitor contract expirations and renewals, ensuring prompt renewal or initiation of competitive sourcing events. Spend Analysis: Analyze spend data to identify opportunities, track savings, and measure performance. Reporting: Create reports and presentations to share sourcing activities, savings, and insights with internal teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Finance, Legal, IT, and other teams to gather requirements and support sourcing projects. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the Source-to-Pay process and enhance sourcing efficiency through tools and data insights. Risk & Compliance: Ensure compliance with sourcing policies and vendor due diligence; proactively identify sourcing-related risks. Escalation: Raise potential risks or concerns to the Sourcing Manager or Senior Manager when necessary. Qualifications: Experience: 2-4 years in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, preferably in a technology or high-growth setting. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Finance, or a related area. Technical Skills: Proficient in procurement technologies (Coupa experience preferred), Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and spend analytics tools. Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective negotiation and communication abilities. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and stakeholders. A collaborative team player dedicated to continuous improvement. Bonus Qualifications: Experience with M&A integration projects. Familiarity managing technology, BPO, or professional services categories. The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is: $77,000-$90,000 USD. Due to client requirements, post-offer health screenings and proof of vaccinations may be necessary.
