Pharmacy Technician IV Certified - New York, New York

An infusion pharmacy based in New York, NY seeks two experienced IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technicians for an immediate 13-week contract opportunity, with potential to convert to permanent based on performance. This role is high priority and requires candidates who are ready to start promptly. Schedule: Monday through Friday Choose between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM shifts Responsibilities: Prepare IV medications and prescriptions in a clean room environment under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist Prepackage medications following strict standards and governmental regulations Assist pharmacists in final verification and packaging of prescriptions Maintain accurate data entry in billing systems to support reimbursement processes Support inventory management by receiving, rotating medications, and assisting in physical inventory Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant workspace by checking equipment calibration and cleanliness Qualifications: Current New York State pharmacy technician license National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred Strong prior experience in IV/Infusion pharmacy compounding highly preferred Ability to work independently with attention to detail and adherence to safety practices This is a contract role with a clear pathway to permanent employment for candidates who demonstrate excellence.
