An opportunity is available for a skilled Radiologic Technologist with expertise in imaging and X-ray procedures. This contract position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, high-volume environment supporting emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care. Qualifications & Desired Experience: ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT-R) required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiologic technology preferred Experience with Siemens and GE imaging equipment advantageous Comfortable working with EPIC EMR systems Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented department Responsibilities: Perform radiologic imaging procedures for patients in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings Collaborate with radiology nursing and transport staff to ensure timely and accurate diagnostics Maintain high standards of patient safety and comfort throughout procedures Participate in orientation and ongoing department training programs Uphold departmental policies, including wearing assigned black scrubs and adhering to infection control Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM Weekend and holiday coverage to be discussed during the interview; travelers will work 75% of holidays Manager approval required for requests off Additional Information: No floating assignments required Free parking available Department culture focused on accountability and patient-focused care NC State licensure not required This position is an excellent contract opportunity for both experienced Radiologic Technologists and first-time travelers looking to expand their expertise in a well-respected trauma level III teaching hospital setting.
