EastBanc, Inc., a Washington, DC-based international development and property management firm, is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to perform various functions within the Property Management Team. EastBanc specializes in the development, construction, and property management of luxury residential, retail and mixed-use projects and trophy/"Class A" office buildings. In alignment with corporate goals, specific responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following: Responsibilities: Serve as primary contact and resource for tenant events planning in the property's events center. Responsibilities include scheduling, invoicing, advising on facility use policies, etc. Coordinate with neighborhood organizations to plan and support community events on the property's common plaza. Respond to tenant service calls, dispatching and tracking response to completion, and ensuring follow-up on each call. Schedule vendor access with tenants for contracted maintenance and services. Provide support to manager in reviewing AR, tenant outreach, and collections efforts. Serve as safety coordinator, facilitating tenant meetings, meetings with neighborhood BID and local authorities, managing and monitoring security cameras, access controls, etc. Manage certificate of insurance program, ensuring compliance of all tenants and vendors. Review utility and vendor service invoices for accuracy. Assist in managing service contracts, including vendor performance, scope adjustments, and contract preparation. Assist with routine property inspections, resolving any noted deficiencies. Assist with planning and preparing annual budgets. Demonstrate outstanding customer service in all areas of responsibility. Assist Property Management Team with special projects, as needed Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree. 5 years minimum of commercial property management experience demonstrating increasing responsibility. Ability to work professionally with people at all levels and maintain a high degree of initiative and self-direction Have excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Nexus and MRI is a plus. This is a full-time in-person position. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance, as well as monthly parking, cell phone reimbursement, and tuition reimbursement. The salary range for this role is between $75,000 and $90,000, depending on the candidate's experience.
