Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Cape Coral, FL, serving K-12 students within a contracted school year assignment. This position requires on-site work and offers a caseload varying by school location. Candidates will be assigned to multiple school sites, primarily within the East Zone, including Lehigh Acres and the southernmost location at Lexington Middle School near Naples. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations and therapy sessions Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning efforts Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active Florida Department of Health SLP license Completion of fingerprinting for Florida school district employment; previous fingerprints must be verified through AHCA Clearinghouse or new prints obtained SLP-Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) required Additional Information: Start date: ASAP through June 1, 2026 Full-time hours up to 37.5 per week, with potential part-time arrangements Licensure and credentialing requirements include fingerprint clearance and JLA badge issuance Positions available across multiple schools with varying caseloads This role offers the opportunity to impact student communication skills and outcomes within a dynamic educational environment.
