The Campus Recruiter is a key member of the Early Careers team and plays a critical role in supporting the intern, co-op, full-time and rotational program hiring. This role is responsible for delivering consistent, high quality early career recruiting outcomes through strong business partnership, effective campus engagement and disciplined execution. This role requires a results driven recruiter who is comfortable managing high volume recruiting activity, building relationships with hiring teams and representing Smurfit Westrock on campus. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player with strong organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities and the ability to leverage recruiting technology to deliver results. How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock: Partner closely with business leaders, hiring managers and HR partners to understand hiring needs and deliver early career recruiting support aligned to business demand. Manage high volume recruiting for interns, co-ops and early career full time roles, ensuring timely, efficient and high-quality hiring outcomes. Serve as a primary point of contact for early career candidates, providing clear communication and a positive, professional candidate experience. Build and maintain early career talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, campus engagement and ongoing relationship management. Plan, coordinate and attend on campus and virtual recruiting events including career fairs, information sessions, interviews and other recruiting activities. Represent Smurfit Westrock professionally on campus and at recruiting events, effectively communicating the company's employment brand and early career opportunities. Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics, ensuring a smooth and well-organized interview process for candidates and hiring teams. Leverage recruiting technology and systems to track activity, manage pipelines and support reporting needs. Deliver a high level of service to internal customers and candidates through responsiveness, attention to detail and follow through. Collaborate closely with the Early Careers team, contributing to team goals, process improvements and a positive, inclusive team culture. What You Need to Succeed: Bachelor's degree required. 5+ years experience in recruiting, campus recruiting, or related field. Proven experience supporting recruiting efforts in a fast paced, high volume environment. Strong ability to build effective working relationships with business partners, HR teams and candidates. Comfort representing the organization in external settings including college campuses and recruiting events. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability and ownership. Results-driven approach with a focus on delivering high quality results and excellent customer experience. Comfort using recruiting technology and systems to manage workflows, data and communication. Strong proficiency with Microsoft O365 including Teams, Word and Excel. Experience or familiarity with recruiting systems and tools such as Handshake and Yello. Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage the recruiting process from start to finish.
