Company: • Grant Thornton is a major Audit, Tax, and Advisory Services company offering a broad range of services in strategy and consulting, operations, technology and more across various industries. Location: 100% Remote - Supporting CST and EST time zones but need to be able to work all time zones, some early work is expected to work with global colleagues. Duration: Contract - Through June 2026 with potential to extend Overview: • Grant Thornton is looking for a Global HCM Systems Analyst to support critical initiatives around M&A and HCM integration projects with newly acquired entities. • Co-Lead HCM data/system integration for new acquisitions, including planning and coordination of all HCM integration activities • Gather and document detailed HR data requirements; conduct data mapping and ensure end-to-end data flow integrity • Collaborate with HRIS, EA, PMO, and business stakeholders to align solutions; facilitate meetings for mapping & requirements • Recommend global best practices and improvements to HCM data processes; ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards. • Create clear documentation (process flows, specs, user stories) for technical and non-technical audiences. • Oversee testing/validation of integrations and resolve interface issues to ensure seamless data exchange. Responsibilities: • HR Data Requirements Documentation: Gather and document detailed HR data specifications, including required fields, formats, sources, and business rules. • Data Mapping Workbook: Create source-to-target mapping of HR data across systems, including transformation logic and validation rules. • End-to-End Data Flow Diagrams: Produce visual representations of data movement across systems, highlighting integration points and dependencies. • User Stories in Azure DevOps: Write and manage Agile user stories capturing business needs, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria. • Process Flows & Technical Specs: Document integration processes, including ETL steps, error handling, and data validation procedures. • Interface Specifications: Define technical details for each integration point, including APIs, file formats, schedules, and error codes. • Meeting Minutes & Action Logs: Capture outcomes from workshops, mapping sessions, and stakeholder reviews. • SharePoint Repository Management: Organize and maintain project artifacts for easy access and version control. • Status Reports & Dashboards: Deliver regular updates on progress, risks, and issues using tools like Azure DevOps or Power BI. Qualifications: • 5+ years in systems/business analysis (HCM or data integration focus) • Experience with major HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, etc.) • Experience in global HCM data projects or HRIS implementations. • M&A integration project experience is highly desirable. • Strong understanding of HR data structures, data governance, and data integration methodologies • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa. • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills (root cause analysis, attention to detail). • Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to lead workshops and coordinate across teams. • Exposure to global HR operations and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR). • Certifications like PMP, CBAP, or HR tech certifications (Workday, etc.) are a plus.
