Job Description

This opportunity is seeking experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support students in an educational setting focused on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classrooms. Each student will be assigned a 1:1 RBT to provide individualized behavioral support and intervention. This role is based in Pawtucket, RI, and is a contracted position within a school environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support to students with ASD. Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision. Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress. Participate in special programming during the school year (CYS, ESY) and prepare for the upcoming school year (NSY). Work a consistent schedule with flexibility during ESY sessions. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Experience working in educational settings, particularly with students on the autism spectrum. Ability to manage a 1:1 caseload and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Reliable availability for ESY (4 days per week, 8am-12pm) and full-time hours during the regular school year (up to 40 hours weekly). Flexibility for summer work opportunities is preferred. Schedule and Other Details: 35 hours per week during initial terms, increasing to 40 hours in the fall. ESY sessions operate 4 days per week, mornings from 8am to 12pm. Please note, there is no Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) support until the fall, which may impact immediate placement. Work will involve close coordination with school staff and administration.
