Job Description The Process Engineer will be responsible for: Support the processing, validation, and documentation of new products, molds, processes, and equipment Contribute to the quoting process for tools and parts Provide training to Process Technicians on resolving processing-related issues Drive optimization of manufacturing processes Lead continuous improvement initiatives through enhancements in materials, processes, tooling, and automation Assist in daily production activities and troubleshoot existing processes as needed Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction Design and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) when required Collaborate with customers and suppliers as necessary Support efforts to maintain and promote a safe working environment MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant The successful Process Engineer will have a background of: Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering or related field Knowledge of injection molding processes, including scientific molding and validation methodologies (e.g., IQ/OQ/PQ) Exposure to industry standards and quality systems, with a willingness to learn automotive requirements (e.g., PPAP, PFMEA, APQP) Experience with process automation and secondary operations such as welding, decorating, or machining Strong understanding of quality and SPC systems Project management experience from concept through production Effective team collaboration and communication skills RJG training or experience is a plus What's on Offer The Process Engineer will be offered: Competitive base salary Full Benefits Bonus package Opportunity to grow as a technical leader Massive scale up after a record 2024 Contact Jack Donahue Quote job ref JN-012026-6931300
