Quality Technician II

HiFyve is hiring Quality Technicians based out of Burlington, WA! Salary: $24 to $27 per hour + Overtime Schedule: 6am to 6pm, 2X2X3 Rotation Location: Burlington, WA Job Duties and Responsibilities:Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence Collecting and compiling statistical quality data Determining the root causes of product defects and scrap Perform quality controls following the Work Instructions (WI's) on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products. Suggest improvements of the WI's in order to reduce scraps and improve the performance of the finished product. Create statistical analysis and reports on the quality of raw materials and finished product as required. Monitor and audit operations, suggesting improvements to the tools of quality control used in the production line Provide hourly reports to management via email Education and Skill Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent Manufacturing experience in a technical role Previous PV module manufacturing experience, preferred Knowledge of reading blueprints/ GD&T Drawings Proven proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office and Excel programs, and statistical software packages. Excellent understanding of problem-solving techniques including 8D, 5Why's, Fishbone, etc. If Interested, Apply today!
