Quality Assurance Analyst (QA) Hybrid Location: 3771 Eastwood Dr Jackson, MS 39211 United States Position Description This position requires a qualified Quality Assurance Analyst with at least 7 years of experience performing QA activities across simple and complex system implementations. Key Responsibilities Support planning, design, and execution of system testing Translate business requirements into test plans and detailed test cases Collaborate with IT teams and business units to validate test cases Test software and applications to ensure functionality, performance, and efficiency Perform: User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Functional Testing Regression Testing Performance Testing End-to-End System Testing Develop and distribute testing reports Review user requirements to ensure testability Create and manage QA documentation, including: Formal Test Plans Test Case Documents Technical Use Cases User Stories Create diagrams, flowcharts, and workflows illustrating system data flow Document new development: User Guides System Guides Supporting documentation Actively participate in process improvements Work closely with: Project Manager Architect Business Analyst Developers Required Skills & Experience (Mandatory) Candidates must demonstrate the following on their resume: 7+ years experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst on software development teams Strong verbal and written communication skills for: Test cases Stakeholder communication Ability to: Write test plans, test cases, and test scripts from scratch Map business processes into test case documentation Strong experience in: QA management Test strategy and planning Test execution and deployment Test data management Defect tracking Experience reviewing requirements to ensure testability Experience creating and managing QA artifacts listed above Familiarity with: Software development concepts Database development concepts Strong experience with: Acceptance testing Agile / Scrum environments Ability to analyze business functions Preferred / Not Required Skills The following are nice-to-have skills: Database Entity Design C# .NET PL/SQL DevOps SQL Server Oracle Visio MVC SDLC Scrum / Agile Samples of previously created QA documents (strongly preferred)
