Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Emergency Room Physician to provide exceptional care in a concierge emergency room environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, including emergency medicine, critical care, and trauma management, to deliver comprehensive patient assessment and treatment. This role requires proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, advanced diagnostic tools, and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care. The Emergency Room Physician will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective medical interventions for acute conditions across diverse patient populations.ResponsibilitiesPerform rapid and thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examinations.Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for emergency cases, utilizing advanced medical procedures such as airway management, suturing, and IV infusion.Utilize diagnostic radiology (CT scans, diagnostic evaluation) and medical imaging to inform clinical decisions.Manage acute pain, trauma cases, and complex medical emergencies.Coordinate with local specialists in cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, infectious disease care, and other disciplines as needed for comprehensive patient management for transfers.Document all patient encounters accurately using EMR systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations.Lead resuscitation efforts and utilize advanced life support techniques during critical situations.Ensure infection control practices and aseptic techniques are maintained throughout all procedures.Provide discharge planning and patient education to facilitate recovery and follow-up care.ExperienceProven experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings with demonstrated proficiency in emergency room procedures.Critical care experience is highly desirable, including ICU or neurocritical care backgrounds.Familiarity with a broad range of specialties such as cardiology, pulmonology (ventilator management), obstetrics (labor & delivery), pediatrics (pediatric emergency medicine), and psychiatry enhances clinical versatility.Proficiency in using EHR/EMR systems such as EPowerDoc is required for efficient documentation and patient tracking.Experience working within Level I or Level II trauma centers is preferred to handle complex trauma cases effectively.Knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD) for accurate documentation and billing processes.
