Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse! We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide exceptional care to our residents. In this fulfilling role, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that dignity, privacy, and individuality are key components of our residents' care. Essential Duties: Support a philosophy that values dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality for all residents. Collaborate with the Health and Wellness Director and Executive Director to coordinate health care and educational services for residents. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately, including service and medication delivery records, adhering to regulatory and company policy guidelines. Act as a resident advocate in medical and social situations, working with residents, designated agents, physicians, and other agencies. Promote and track infection control procedures to maintain high standards of care and wellness. Verify physician orders and assist with resident move-in/move-out processes, ensuring timely follow-up. Identify resident concerns and work diligently to resolve issues to improve quality of life. Be available and alert as the Nighttime Health Coordinator when needed. Education/Experience: Must hold a current LPN/LVN or RN license according to state guidelines, with annual continuing education requirements completed. Preferred: at least 1 year of experience in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing Units. Specific Requirements: Knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care for residents. Exhibit strong teamwork and a positive attitude, serving as a role model for associates. Ability to make independent decisions when necessary. Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a cheerful disposition, especially when handling challenging situations. Openness to learn and adopt new methods and principles in nursing practices.
