Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - Travel - Day Shift - Tulsa, OK (74104) Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) travel assignment in Tulsa, OK (74104). NMTCB & PET certification required. Day shift, 13-week contract - great opportunity for PET/CT technologists and travel allied health professionals. Quick Job Snapshot Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) / PET Technologist Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma (74104) - Tulsa nuclear medicine jobs / Oklahoma healthcare jobs Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 23, 2026 - June 22, 2026) Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30); 40 hours/week On-Call: Rotation every third week for emergency cases Unit: Nuclear Medicine (general nuclear medicine, no cardiac) Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Caseload: ~10 visits/day; 3 imaging rooms Orientation: 24 hours onsite Estimated Weekly Salary: $1970 - $2110/week Why This Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job? Required Qualifications NMTCB and PET certifications required (NMTCB-certified, PET certified) Valid Allied license for Oklahoma in hand at time of submission Competency in PET and general nuclear medicine imaging procedures Ability to participate in on-call rotation for emergency cases First-time travelers welcome - no prior travel assignment experience required Preferred Qualifications Experience operating Siemens PET/CT and Philips nuclear medicine cameras Experience with Epic electronic charting system (EPIC) Previous hospital-based nuclear medicine experience or cross-training in PET/CT Key Responsibilities Perform PET and general nuclear medicine imaging procedures (excluding cardiac studies) Operate and maintain Siemens PET/CT and Philips nuclear medicine equipment Adhere to protocols for storage, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials and maintain radiation safety Draw venous blood and start/maintain IVs as required for imaging procedures Maintain isolation precautions, PPE standards, and infection-control practices Document procedures, imaging findings, and patient information accurately in Epic Collaborate with radiology, nursing, and transport teams to ensure efficient patient flow Float to like units within scope when needed and support departmental needs Benefits & Perks Competitive travel pay and benefits typical for travel allied health roles Estimated weekly salary: $1970 - $2110/week Hands-on experience with advanced PET/CT and nuclear imaging systems Supportive team environment ideal for first-time travelers Opportunity to work in a vibrant city with strong community and cultural amenities Ready to advance your career as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Tulsa, OK?
